Lombardies has been a temporary exhibition that took place at EXPO Milano 2015. It was promoted by the Union of Lombardy’s twelve Chambers of Commerce (Unioncamere Lombardia) and produced by POLI.design, Consortium of the Politecnico di Milano.
POLI.design asked me to join their multidisciplinary team to work on the early stages of the design process. Together with prof. Giulio Ceppi, I developed the first exhibition design concept. Lombardy is a region of excellence but it’s also a territory of diversity; the exhibition concept proposes an exploration of its different elements of territorial, productive, demographic and entrepreneurial nature, constantly mixing with each other.
These elements make Lombardy a region with great potential for growth and development, a region that is able to provide solutions, models and forms of innovation that may be used by an international community.
