Interdisciplinary Design
Today, companies are facing a complex scenario. Physical and digital have merged; objects, experiences and services have become completely integrated; and communication has turned into a prerequisite simply to exist.
In this fluid reality, products, services, interfaces, environments, and communication channels are all part of what customers and stakeholders perceive as a continuum.
To be successful, brands must shape this entire continuum and convey clear, consistent value and meaning.
Fabio Besti Interdisciplinary Design works with organizations and brands internationally and helps them design this ecosystem of meaning, artifacts, and relational touchpoints.
Fabio Besti
I define myself an interdisciplinary designer and researcher. I love looking at the world through complexity, with both an empathic and analytic perspective.
Always with an inquisitive mind and with a special interest in the human side of things, I’ve been through many different life and professional chapters.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Product Design for Innovation from Politecnico di Milano. During my early professional years I moved between different countries, Italy, Spain and the US, working in many different fields: from branding and graphic design, to architecture, to product and digital design, and project management.
In 2014 I came back in Italy to establish my design practice and put this diversified skillset to the service of people and brands. With my studio in Milan, I work nationally and internationally with many different organizations, from corporations, to start-ups and non-profits, and use design to help them reach their goals and develop meaningful innovation for customers and the society in general.
I conduct also research, teaching and dissemination activities. With a focus on the relationship between design and the most cutting-edge innovations, I teach courses, conduct workshops and give talks for schools, universities and conferences.
